About the White Finish
At up to three metres wide, this is a large wardrobe, and white is the finish that lets you have that much storage without the room paying for it. A front this wide in a dark colour becomes the defining element of the bedroom whether you intend it to or not. White reads as wall rather than furniture, so the storage arrives without the bulk.
The door design does useful work at this scale. Each sliding door divides into three horizontal panels – a tall centre panel with a shorter one above and below – and across three doors those lines give a wide white front a quiet rhythm rather than leaving it as one flat expanse. On a smaller wardrobe the detail is subtle; here it is what stops three metres of pale surface looking like a blank wall.
Handles are a genuine choice rather than a fixed fitting, and on a wardrobe this wide the three vertical lines they create matter more than on a two-door model. Three separate hanging sections is a considerably more usable arrangement than two wide ones. Two people sharing can take a compartment each, with the third given over to bedding, luggage or out-of-season clothing – and none of the three is a compromise. Which width should I choose?
All three give three compartments, each with two shelves and a hanging rail. 240cm gives 80cm per compartment, 270cm gives 90cm, and 300cm gives 100cm – so the wider models give more space per section rather than extra sections. Measure the full run of wall before ordering, including skirting boards, radiators and any point where the wall is not perfectly square.
Why choose three doors rather than two?
Beyond the extra width, the interior divides into three separate compartments rather than two. Two people sharing can take one each with the third for bedding or luggage, and each section keeps its own shelves and rail – which is far more usable than two very wide compartments.
Is a wardrobe this large right for my room?
