About the Truro Wide Chest
The wide chest is the practical centrepiece of the Truro bedroom. At 75cm wide, its four drawers take folded clothes flat across the width rather than squeezed into a narrow column – jumpers, jeans and shirts lie the way they were folded, and a real wardrobe's worth of clothing fits without the drawers fighting you.
The oak-effect top matches the Truro wardrobe cornice – Bianco Oak on White and Sage Green, Dark Rustic Oak on Pebble Grey – and at this width it becomes a genuinely useful surface. At 86cm it is the right height for a lamp, a mirror or framed photographs, and the timber finish gives the piece the look of traditional cottage furniture rather than a painted box.
It sits comfortably under a window or against a free wall, and at 42cm deep it does not project into the room.
Slate bar handles match the wardrobes, and the three colour combinations are the same as the rest of the range: White with Bianco Oak, the lightest; Pebble Grey with Dark Rustic Oak, the warmest and most traditional; and Sage Green with Bianco Oak, a soft heritage green that suits a period or cottage bedroom.
