About the Silk Grey Glass Front with Centre Mirror
Grey and mirror is a more subtle pairing than white and mirror, and for a lot of bedrooms it is the better one. Where a bright white front and a mirror push light around the room quite forcefully, silk grey glass and a mirror work in a softer register – the grey has enough tone to hold its own beside the reflection rather than disappearing into it, so the front reads as balanced rather than dazzling. It is the more restful of the two, and the more considered-looking.
Silk Grey itself is a soft, light grey with a gentle warmth to it – not the cold, blue-tinged grey that dated so quickly in the last decade of interiors, and not so pale that it reads as an off-white.
