About the White Finish with Centre Mirrors

Three mirrored doors at the centre of a 226cm wardrobe is the most reflective configuration in the Glamour range. Three full-height mirrors running side by side create a continuous panel well over a metre wide, framed by a single door at each end – the closest thing to a mirrored wall you can achieve without commissioning one, and considerably more striking than the single mirrored door most wardrobes offer.

In a bedroom the effect is disproportionate to the space it occupies. A reflective expanse of that size visually pushes the opposite wall back, redistributes every bit of available light, and removes the need for a freestanding mirror taking up floor space. It also places the mirror centrally, where you would naturally stand to use it.

The two outer doors are yours to specify, and the three options change the character of the piece considerably.

Matt décor is the quietest. A soft, non-reflective panel finish matching the carcase, it frames the mirrored centre without competing with it – the contrast between flat white and bright reflection is clean and deliberate, and it is the version least likely to throw reflections around the room at night.

High gloss white pushes in the opposite direction. A reflective lacquered surface either side of three mirrors makes the entire front luminous, and in a smaller or north-facing bedroom the combined light gain is substantial. It is the brightest configuration Glamour offers.

White crystal glass is the premium option, and the one this collection is named for. Genuine tempered glass alongside genuine mirror is a natural pairing – both are glass, both share the same depth and evenness, so the front reads as one continuous glazed surface rather than a mirror set into a cabinet. It also holds its appearance permanently, with no scuffed edges and no faint cream cast developing over years of daylight.

The long chrome handles run the full height of each door, giving five vertical chrome lines across the front. On a wardrobe with this much mirror that regularity is doing structural work rather than decoration – it divides the reflective expanse into readable sections and stops the centre becoming an undefined bright area.

Internally the wardrobe divides into three compartments – 90cm, 45cm and 90cm. Each has a storage shelf and a hanging rail, all height-adjustable, so the interior adapts to what you actually own rather than what the factory assumed. What are the three front finishes?

Preparing Your Room for Assembly

Large wardrobes normally need to be assembled flat before being carefully raised into their final position. Preparing the room before the delivery team arrives is therefore essential.

• Ensure the room has sufficient clear floor space for the wardrobe to be assembled lying flat.
• Allow approximately 20cm of clearance around the wardrobe footprint where possible.
• Allow approximately 15–20cm of ceiling clearance above the finished height of the wardrobe.
• Ensure access routes, doorways, hallways and stairs are clear and suitable for the wardrobe components to be safely carried into the room.
• Remove furniture and other items that may obstruct the assembly area.
• Consider radiators, light fittings, low ceilings, sloping ceilings and other permanent obstructions that could prevent safe assembly.
• Our wardrobes are freestanding and the assembly team may require access around the furniture during installation.

Important: If our assembly team arrives and the room or access route is not suitable for safe delivery and assembly, they may be unable to complete the service. The assembly charge may still apply where the service cannot be completed because sufficient access or assembly space has not been provided.

What Happens If Damage Occurs During Assembly?

When you choose our Professional Delivery & Assembly service, the installation is carried out by our specialist assembly team.

If accidental damage occurs to your wardrobe during assembly, the assemblers will report the damage to us so that we can arrange the appropriate replacement part.

We normally aim to order the replacement part within approximately 48 hours of receiving the relevant information from the assembly team.

Please be aware that many of our wardrobe parts are manufactured and supplied from Germany. Replacement components may therefore take a similar lead time to the original order before they arrive with us and can be arranged for fitting.
