About the White Finish
At 271cm this is a large wardrobe, and white is the finish that lets you have that much storage without the room paying for it. A wardrobe of this width in a dark colour becomes the defining element of the bedroom whether you intend it to or not. A white carcase and doors let the piece recede into the wall, while the six Atlantic Dark Oak drawer fronts give it definition and stop it reading as a blank expanse. It is the combination that makes a large wardrobe feel considered rather than imposing.
The six-door layout uses that contrast particularly well. Because the two centre doors run full height with no drawers beneath them, the oak sits as two distinct blocks at either end of the wardrobe rather than one continuous band across the bottom. The white centre section separates them, giving the front a composed, symmetrical arrangement rather than a repeating one across nearly three metres.
That centre compartment is also the practical reason to choose the six-door over the smaller models. It is a full 90cm of uninterrupted hanging space – no drawers cutting it short – so coats, dresses, suit carriers and anything else needing the full drop has a proper home. Large wardrobes often give you more of the same thing: four identical compartments, all cut short by the same fittings. Here you get three distinct zones, two for everyday clothes and one for the long garments that have nowhere else to go.
The six drawers are arranged in three graduated depths, and each depth exists because something specific needs to go in it. The top drawer in each bank is 6cm deep with interior dividers – a jewellery, watch, cufflink, belt and sock drawer, for the things that get lost at the bottom of a deep drawer or end up in a dish on the chest. Below it an 8cm drawer for underwear, socks and folded lightweights. At the bottom, a 20cm drawer for jumpers, jeans and anything bulky.
Because the banks sit at opposite ends of the wardrobe rather than side by side, two people sharing get a genuinely separate half each – a drawer bank and a hanging compartment apiece, with the full-height centre as shared space. On a wardrobe this wide that separation is worth more than the raw storage volume. Each drawer is 85cm wide and 39cm deep internally, a proper size rather than a token one, running on metal runners for smooth, reliable use.
Behind the doors, each of the three 90cm compartments has a height-adjustable shelf and a metal hanging rail rated to 40kg. The shelf positions to suit what you actually own rather than sitting where the factory decided, so the centre compartment can be set for full-length hanging while the outer sections carry more folded storage – or the other way round.
Usable interior depth is 50cm, so garments hang square rather than pressing against the doors. The shelves are 1.6cm thick and the rails are metal rather than plastic. If you want more from the interior, additional shelves, interior drawers, lighting, pull-out rails and dividers can all be added as optional extras before you order.
At 210cm high it fits a standard modern bedroom without needing a specialist ceiling height, and the 54cm depth keeps the footprint modest for a wardrobe that also absorbs six drawers' worth of storage. In most bedrooms this replaces a wardrobe and a chest of drawers together, so the floor space gained elsewhere often offsets the width.
In White, Kodi is also produced as a 4 door wardrobe at 181cm, which has no full-height section, and a 5 door wardrobe at 226cm, whose full-height centre is 45cm rather than 90cm. This 271cm model is also available in Metallic Grey and Champagne, each with the same Atlantic Dark Oak drawer fronts.
Kodi belongs to the Rauch Orange range and is 100% Made in Germany, carrying both the Blue Angel and the Golden M seals. Blue Angel is an independently verified low-emission certification, meaningful for a piece of furniture this large in a room you sleep in, and the Golden M is Germany's recognised furniture quality mark. It carries a 10-year manufacturer guarantee.
Matching furniture is available across the collection, all carrying the same Atlantic Dark Oak drawer fronts: a 3 drawer bedside table available in pairs, a 4 drawer narrow chest, and a 5 drawer chest with two small top drawers above three larger ones. Wardrobe, bedside tables and drawer chest can be bought together as a three or four piece set, or individually.

FAQs
What is behind the two centre doors?
A 90cm full-height compartment with a height-adjustable shelf and a metal hanging rail. Because there are no drawers beneath it, the full height of the wardrobe is available – making it the section to use for coats, dresses, suit carriers and anything else that needs uninterrupted vertical space.
What are the two colours?
The carcase and doors are White, with contrasting Atlantic Dark Oak drawer fronts. The handles are matte black linear metal on both the doors and the drawers. The same wardrobe is also available in Metallic Grey and Champagne.
How does this compare with the 4 and 5 door versions?
The 4 door at 181cm has two compartments, both above drawer banks, with no full-height section. The 5 door at 226cm adds a 45cm full-height centre. This 6 door widens that centre to a full 90cm, giving considerably more long-hanging space. All three have the same six drawers.
Why are the drawers different depths?
Each depth is intended for different contents. The 6cm top drawer has interior dividers for jewellery, watches, belts and small accessories. The 8cm middle drawer suits underwear, socks and folded lightweights. The 20cm bottom drawer takes jumpers, jeans and bulkier items. The arrangement is repeated at both ends, so there are two complete sets.
What is inside each wardrobe compartment?
Each of the three 90cm compartments has one height-adjustable shelf and one metal hanging rail rated to 40kg. The centre compartment runs the full height of the unit; the two outer compartments sit above the drawer banks.
Do the drawers have soft close?
The drawers run on metal runners for smooth, reliable use. Soft close is not fitted to this model.
How much space do I need to install it?
Allow 25cm of clearance for installation. On a wardrobe of this width it is worth measuring the full run of wall before ordering, including skirting boards, radiators and any point where the wall is not perfectly square.
Is a wardrobe this large right for my room?
At 271cm wide it needs a substantial run of clear wall, but at 54cm deep the footprint is no greater than a smaller wardrobe. Because it also holds six drawers, it commonly replaces a wardrobe and a chest of drawers together – so the floor space gained elsewhere often offsets the width. In White it also carries less visual weight than the darker finishes.
Is delivery and assembly included?
Free white glove delivery is included. Assembly is available at additional cost and can be selected at checkout.
Can I cancel or change my order?
No. This wardrobe is made to order by Rauch to your selected specification, so once the order has been processed it cannot be cancelled or amended. Please check your measurements and selected options carefully before ordering.
Can I add more shelves or rails inside?
Yes. Additional shelves, interior drawers, lighting, pull-out rails and dividers can all be selected as optional extras when you place your order.
What guarantee does it come with?
Rauch provide a 10-Year Manufacturer Guarantee, subject to their warranty terms.
Is there matching bedroom furniture?
Yes. A 3 drawer bedside table available in pairs, a 4 drawer narrow chest, and a 5 drawer chest with two small top drawers above three larger ones. All carry the same Atlantic Dark Oak drawer fronts, and can be bought with the wardrobe as a three or four piece set or individually.
How do I look after the surfaces?
The surfaces are easy to maintain and should be cleaned with a dry cloth only.
