About the Champagne and Atlantic Oak Design
Larisa is the most restrained wardrobe in our Rauch range, and the champagne version is the warmest expression of it. The front is almost entirely plain – no handles, no glass, no panel divisions – interrupted only by slim vertical strips of Atlantic Dark Oak running the full height between the doors. That is the whole design, and it works precisely because there is nothing else competing with it.
What separates this from the graphite version is how the two materials relate. Champagne is a soft, faintly golden neutral and Atlantic Dark Oak is a rich deep brown – both sit in the same warm family, so the oak strips read as a deepening of the same tone rather than a contrast against it. The graphite version is graphic and architectural; this one is quieter and considerably more natural. If your bedroom is built around linen, wool, oak flooring or warm off-whites, this is the version that belongs there.
Those oak strips do more than break up the colour. On a wardrobe this size the eye needs something to follow, and a full-height vertical line reads as architecture rather than decoration – it draws the height of the piece and gives a broad front proportion.
The optional LED lighting is what turns this from a good-looking wardrobe into something else entirely. Set into the oak panels, the light washes down the strip from the top, so the wood glows from within. On champagne the effect is warmer and softer than on the darker colourway – less a spotlit line, more a gentle glow that lifts the whole front. In a bedroom at night it gives the wardrobe genuine presence without the drama a dark finish produces. It is worth seeing lit before you decide against it.
Champagne is also the more forgiving choice practically. It sits with any flooring and any bedding, keeps a room feeling light, and does not commit you to a scheme the way a near-black finish eventually does. In a smaller or north-facing bedroom it will do considerably more for the space than the graphite version.
Behind the doors the specification is unusually solid. The shelves are 22mm thick – noticeably heavier than typical at this level – which means they take stacked knitwear, storage boxes and shoes without the sag that develops in thinner boards over a few years. Hinges and fixings are metal throughout, and all four doors are soft-close as standard, so nothing slams and the doors sit true over time.
The wardrobe divides into two compartments of 100cm, each with two storage shelves and a hanging rail. Two shelves per section is more than most wardrobes of this width offer, and the shelves are height-adjustable, so the balance between hanging and folded storage can be set to suit what you actually own. A wide range of interior accessories is available if you want to build it out further.
One dimension worth noting: at 223cm high Larisa is taller than most wardrobes in this class, which is where the extra shelf capacity comes from. Check your ceiling height before ordering, and allow room above for the wardrobe to be raised into position during assembly.
Larisa is 100% Made in Germany and carries both the Blue Angel and the Golden M – Blue Angel being an independently verified low-emission certification, which is worth having on a large piece of furniture in a room you sleep in. It is backed by a 10-year manufacturer guarantee.
For a longer wall, Larisa is also produced as a 5 door wardrobe at 251cm and a large 6 door wardrobe at 301cm. The range is also made in Graphite, a deep near-black that throws the oak strips into much sharper contrast.
Matching bedroom furniture is available from the Larisa collection – beds, bedside tables and chests of drawers, in décor matt and glass front finishes, with cushioned self-closing drawers throughout.

FAQs
What is the oak detail on the front?
Slim vertical panels of Atlantic Dark Oak set between the doors, running the full height of the wardrobe. They are the only detail on an otherwise plain champagne front, and they draw the height of the piece rather than breaking it up horizontally.
How does it compare with the Graphite version?
Champagne and Atlantic Dark Oak sit in the same warm family, so the oak strips read as a deepening of the same tone rather than a contrast – the result is quieter and more natural. Graphite is a deep near-black, which makes the same design graphic and architectural instead.
How does the LED lighting work?
The LED is integrated into the oak panels and washes light down the strip from the top, so the wood appears lit from within. On champagne the effect is a gentle glow that lifts the whole front, warmer and softer than on the darker colourway. It is an optional extra rather than standard.
Is the LED lighting included?
No, it is an option. If you want it, select it before adding the wardrobe to your basket – as this is a made-to-order item, it cannot be added afterwards.
What is inside the wardrobe?
Two compartments of 100cm, each with two storage shelves and one hanging rail. The shelves are height-adjustable, so the balance between hanging and folded storage can be set to suit your own clothes. A wide range of interior accessories is available if you want to add to it.
How thick are the shelves?
22mm. That is noticeably heavier than typical, and it is what allows the shelves to carry stacked knitwear, storage boxes or shoes without developing the sag that thinner boards get over time.
Are the doors soft-close?
Yes, on all four doors as standard, with metal hinges and fixings throughout.
How tall is it?
223cm – taller than most wardrobes in this class, which is where the additional shelf capacity comes from. Check your ceiling height before ordering, and allow room above for the wardrobe to be raised into position during assembly.
What delivery options are available?
Free delivery is included. Our professional assembly service is available at additional cost, where our fitters build the wardrobe in your chosen room.
Is it available in other sizes?
Yes. Larisa is produced as a 5 door wardrobe at 251cm and a large 6 door wardrobe at 301cm.
Is it available in other colours?
Yes. The range is also made in Graphite, with the same Atlantic Dark Oak panels.
Can I cancel or change my order?
No. This wardrobe is made to order by Rauch to your selected specification, including the LED option, so once the order has been processed it cannot be cancelled or amended. Please check your measurements and selected options carefully before ordering.
What guarantee does it come with?
Rauch provide a 10-Year Manufacturer Guarantee, subject to their warranty terms.
Is there matching bedroom furniture?

How do I look after the surfaces?
The surfaces are easy to maintain and should be cleaned with a dry cloth only.
