About the Graphite and Atlantic Oak Design
At 301cm this is the largest wardrobe in our Rauch range, and Larisa is the design best equipped to carry that width. The front is almost entirely plain graphite – no handles, no glass, no panel divisions – interrupted only by slim vertical strips of Atlantic Dark Oak running the full height between the doors. On a wardrobe three metres wide, that restraint is exactly right: anything busier would become overwhelming.
What the oak strips do at this scale is give the front rhythm. Six doors mean more vertical lines across the wardrobe, and a series of full-height strips draws the eye upward and divides three metres into readable sections rather than presenting one enormous plane. It is the difference between a wall of storage and a piece of architecture, and it is the reason Larisa works at a width where most wardrobes simply look large.
Atlantic Dark Oak is a rich, deep brown with pronounced grain, warm enough to soften the graphite without lightening it, so the contrast registers as considered rather than stark.
The optional LED lighting is what turns this from a good-looking wardrobe into something else entirely, and at this width it is at its most effective. Set into the oak panels, the light washes down each strip from the top, so the wood glows from within and the vertical lines become the only lit elements on an otherwise dark front. Across a three-metre wardrobe that produces a series of illuminated columns – in a bedroom at night the wardrobe stops being storage and becomes the light source. It is worth seeing lit before you decide against it.
Graphite is a deep, near-black tone, and it suits this treatment better than a pale finish would. The oak needs a dark ground to read against, and the LED needs darkness around it to do anything at all. At 301cm it is also a serious commitment: the wardrobe will define the bedroom rather than sit in it, which works against white or off-white walls and pale flooring in a room with light to spare. In a smaller or north-facing room, the champagne version will serve the space considerably better.
Behind the doors the specification is unusually solid. The shelves are 22mm thick – noticeably heavier than typical at this level – which means they take stacked knitwear, storage boxes and shoes without the sag that develops in thinner boards over a few years. Hinges and fixings are metal throughout, and all six doors are soft-close as standard, so nothing slams and the doors sit true over time.
Internally the wardrobe divides into three equal 100cm compartments, each with two storage shelves and a hanging rail. Three compartments of that width is a genuinely generous arrangement – two people sharing can take one each, with the third given over to bedding, luggage or out-of-season clothing, and none of the three is a compromise. All shelves are height-adjustable, so the balance between hanging and folded storage can be set section by section. A wide range of interior accessories is available if you want to build it out further.
Two dimensions worth checking before you order. At 223cm high Larisa is taller than most wardrobes in this class, which is where the extra shelf capacity comes from – confirm your ceiling height, and allow room above for the wardrobe to be raised into position during assembly. And at 301cm wide, measure the full run of wall including skirting boards, radiators and any point where the wall is not perfectly square.
Larisa is 100% Made in Germany and carries both the Blue Angel and the Golden M – Blue Angel being an independently verified low-emission certification, which is worth having on a piece of furniture this size in a room you sleep in. It is backed by a 10-year manufacturer guarantee.
If 301cm is more than the wall will take, Larisa is also produced as a 4 door wardrobe at 201cm and a 5 door wardrobe at 251cm. The range is also made in Champagne, a soft warm neutral that sits in the same family as the oak for a gentler, more natural result.
Matching bedroom furniture is available from the Larisa collection – beds, bedside tables and chests of drawers, in décor matt and glass front finishes, with cushioned self-closing drawers throughout.

FAQs
What is the oak detail on the front?
Slim vertical panels of Atlantic Dark Oak set between the doors, running the full height of the wardrobe. They are the only detail on an otherwise plain graphite front, and across six doors they give three metres a strong vertical rhythm rather than one enormous flat plane.
How does the LED lighting work?
The LED is integrated into the oak panels and washes light down each strip from the top, so the wood appears lit from within. It is an optional extra rather than standard. On a wardrobe this wide the effect at night is considerable – a series of illuminated columns across an otherwise dark front.
Is the LED lighting included?
No, it is an option. If you want it, select it before adding the wardrobe to your basket – as this is a made-to-order item, it cannot be added afterwards.
How is the wardrobe divided inside?
Into three equal 100cm compartments, each with two storage shelves and one hanging rail. Two people sharing can take a compartment each, with the third for bedding, luggage or out-of-season clothing.
Is a wardrobe this large right for my room?
At 301cm it needs a substantial run of clear wall, and in graphite it will define the bedroom rather than sit in it – which works well against white or off-white walls and pale flooring in a room with good natural light. At 61cm deep the footprint is no greater than a smaller wardrobe; only the width changes. In a smaller or darker room, the champagne version will serve the space better.
How thick are the shelves?
22mm. That is noticeably heavier than typical, and it is what allows the shelves to carry stacked knitwear, storage boxes or shoes without developing the sag that thinner boards get over time.
Are the doors soft-close?
Yes, on all six doors as standard, with metal hinges and fixings throughout.
How tall is it?
223cm – taller than most wardrobes in this class, which is where the additional shelf capacity comes from. Check your ceiling height before ordering, and allow room above for the wardrobe to be raised into position during assembly.
What delivery options are available?
Free delivery is included. Our professional assembly service is available at additional cost, where our fitters build the wardrobe in your chosen room. On a wardrobe of this size it is worth considering.
Is it available in other sizes?
Yes. Larisa is produced as a 4 door wardrobe at 201cm and a 5 door wardrobe at 251cm.
Is it available in other colours?
Yes. The range is also made in Champagne, with the same Atlantic Dark Oak panels.
Can I cancel or change my order?
No. This wardrobe is made to order by Rauch to your selected specification, including the LED option, so once the order has been processed it cannot be cancelled or amended. Please check your measurements and selected options carefully before ordering.
What guarantee does it come with?
Rauch provide a 10-Year Manufacturer Guarantee, subject to their warranty terms.
Is there matching bedroom furniture?
Yes. The Larisa collection includes beds, bedside tables and chests of drawers in décor matt and glass front finishes, with cushioned self-closing drawers.
How do I look after the surfaces?
The surfaces are easy to maintain and should be cleaned with a dry cloth only.
