About the Mirrored Front
Three materials on one door is a lot to get right, and this is the most ambitious front in the range. Each sliding door carries a band of mirror running across its centre, a panel of Dark Atlantic Oak slats at the outer edge, and metallic grey décor closing it above and below. The mirror is the largest element and does the visual work; the oak stops it feeling cold; the grey holds the whole thing together.
Set side by side, the two doors read as a single composition rather than a repeated one. The oak slat panels sit at the outer edges of the wardrobe with the mirror running continuously through the middle, so the front has a clear centre and a defined border. Because the doors slide, that arrangement shifts as you use it – the oak panels move inward, the mirrored section reconfigures. It is genuinely more interesting than a static design.
Metallic Grey is a deep graphite rather than a mid grey, considerably closer to black, and against mirror that darkness works in your favour. A pale surround competes with the reflection; a dark one recedes and lets the mirror lead, while throwing the warm oak grain forward. It is a well-judged combination – the mirror brightens, the grey grounds, the oak warms.
The mirror also earns its place practically. A full-width reflective section across two sliding doors visually doubles the depth of the room, redistributes the available light, and removes the need for a freestanding mirror taking up floor space.
